We’re expanding and looking for skilled Piping Engineers with experience leading piping teams to join our expert team in Sandefjord. Applicants must have a proven track record in plant Layout.

 

What you’ll be working on

Whether your background is in traditional industries or emerging technologies, we want to hear from you! We’re looking for engineers with experience in:

  • Extensive experience in overall plant layout for complex projects
  • Proven ability to lead piping teams and coordinate across disciplines
  • Strong background in layout solutions for large-scale onshore/offshore modifications
  • Experience with FPSO redeployment projects and associated Layout challenges
  • Expertise in greenfield plant design
  • Ability to identify and resolve layout and optimize space utilization
  • Familiarity with international codes and standards for piping and plant design
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling tools (e.g., PDMS, E3D, SmartPlant, or similar)
  • Strong problem-solving skills for complex engineering scenarios
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage teams and stakeholders
  • Knowledge of material selection, stress analysis, and piping flexibility considerations
  • Ability to work in multi-disciplinary environments and deliver under tight deadline
  • Experience in concept, Feed and detailed design
  • Experience estimating manhours and developing schedules

Preferred qualifications:

  • Trade certificate in mechanical disciplines, or a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Extensive experience as a piping engineer is highly valued
  • It is an advantage if you are fluent in Norwegian, both spoken and written
