Are you a compassionate caregiver with a heart for helping others? NKHS is looking for a dedicated Residential Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our team and support both the DS Nursing Team and Residential Services Department. In this dynamic role, you’ll blend clinical nursing support with hands-on residential care in multiple residential homes.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist the DS Nursing team in providing nursing support within the Residential Services Department. Duties include:
◦ Completing identified short-term nursing tasks in multiple locations assigned by the Registered Nurse
◦ Complete nursing-related observation, assessment, and documentation of identified clients in multiple locations as assigned by the Registered Nurse
◦ Provide or assist in the provision of staff training in nursing-related areas assigned by the Registered Nurse
◦ Assist in the development and implementation of nursing-related care plans under the direction of the Registered Nurse
• Provide direct care Residential shift coverage in multiple licensed Residential Care Homes, as assigned, providing for the physical, emotional, medical and safety needs of the residents. Duties include:
◦ Provide for a safe and healthy living environment for residents.
◦ Provide direct care to residents to meet their physical needs as indicated. This may include, but not be limited to, bathing, toileting, lifting, transferring, physical assistance, feeding, medication administration, and supporting residents in the community.
◦ Complete household tasks of cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, etc.
◦ Provide support and supervision to all residents in accordance with their Individual Support Agreements (ISA’s), Behavior Support Plans, court orders, and other applicable plans and procedures as directed by the Residential Program Management
◦ Complete Medication Delegation training. Maintain applicable skills and delegation, and safely administer resident medications as prescribed by the physician and under the direction of the agency nurse.
◦ Complete Special Care Procedure training as applicable. Maintain skills and delegation and safely administer Special Care Procedures as prescribed by the physician and under the direction of the agency nurse.

QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current Vermont licensure as a Licensed Nursing Assistant

• $20.50 - $25.06 per hour
