The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in electrical engineering for <strong>major oil and gas projects</strong>, particularly during the <strong>Pre-FEED (Appraisal Phase Studies - APS)</strong> and <strong>FEED</strong> stages. A solid background in both <strong>grassroots developments</strong> and <strong>revamp projects</strong>, especially involving <strong>licensed process units</strong>, is essential.</p><p>As part of the owner’s engineering team, you will be responsible for <strong>overseeing electrical engineering activities</strong>, ensuring alignment with <strong>licensor requirements</strong>, reviewing technical deliverables, and supporting <strong>optimization studies</strong> to ensure safe, cost-effective, and timely project execution.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Lead and support the development of electrical engineering deliverables during the <strong>Pre-FEED (APS)</strong> and <strong>FEED</strong> phases of oil and gas projects.</p></li><li><p>Perform independent reviews of <strong>Preliminary Design</strong> studies to ensure technical integrity and alignment with project objectives.</p></li><li><p>Oversee and review contractor engineering work, including technical documentation such as <strong>Single Line Diagrams</strong>, <strong>Load Lists</strong>, <strong>Cable Schedules</strong>, <strong>Equipment Datasheets</strong>, and <strong>Specifications</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (process, instrumentation, mechanical, civil, etc.) to ensure design integration.</p></li><li><p>Actively participate in and contribute to <strong>optimization studies</strong> to improve cost, safety, and performance.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with all applicable international and client-specific standards, codes, and regulations.</p></li><li><p>Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.</p></li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li><p><strong>Bachelor’s degree</strong> (or equivalent) in <strong>Electrical Engineering</strong> from a recognized university.</p></li><li><p>Minimum of <strong>8 years</strong> of experience in electrical engineering roles for major oil and gas projects.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated expertise in both <strong>revamp and grassroots projects</strong>, especially during <strong>Pre-FEED</strong> and <strong>FEED</strong> phases.</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to independently conduct and review <strong>Preliminary Design</strong> studies.</p></li><li><p>Experience working within or alongside <strong>owner engineering teams</strong> is highly desirable.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with engineering tools and software used in electrical system design and analysis.</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</p></li><li><p>Effective communication and teamwork abilities.</p></li><li><p><strong>Fluency in Italian is essential</strong>, with <strong>proficiency in English required</strong>; knowledge of French is a plus.</p></li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>At SEGULA Technologies, diversity, equity, and inclusion are at the heart of our human resources policy.
