Core Facility Services, LLC is seeking an Operations Manager based in West Orange, NJ. This dynamic, hands-on, manager will be an integral member of the leadership team; and will be directly responsible for leading commercial cleaning operations, while ensuring that service commitments are fully met. The Operations Manager will be responsible for day-to-day site operations, ensuring the facility remains clean, safe, and functional. This role requires a versatile skill set, including basic trades, vendor coordination, and strong communication to interface with tenants and property management.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and oversee light plumbing, carpentry, and electrical repairs
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and vendors
• Execute custodial tasks as needed to maintain facility standards
• Serve as on-site liaison for property management and tenant concerns
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and facility protocols
• Track and report maintenance issues and resolutions
• Utilize computer systems for scheduling, communication, and reporting

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in facility or operations management
• Hands-on skills in plumbing, carpentry, and electrical maintenance
• Strong computer literacy (email, spreadsheets, work orders, etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to urgent issues effectively
• Professional demeanor and ability to build positive tenant relationships
