IT Product Line Lead for Learning
Our IT team partners with HR business leadership on a strategic level to define technology priorities and roadmap, translating business strategy into short- & long-term technology and data needs ensuring the business is fully enabled by IT capabilities and data, including maintenance, support and operations (MS&O).
Enterprise IT is searching for an energetic and experienced IT Product Line Lead responsible for defining, evolving, and executing on the Global Learning & Development vision and strategy related to the Learning and Development Product.
This candidate will be responsible for closely partnering with key stakeholders in HR to deliver technology solutions for the Learning product. The Product Line Lead owns end to end responsibility for all the products in the product line - including strategy, roadmap, business case development, stakeholder communication, total cost of ownership, user satisfaction, product quality and realizing measurable outcomes across the product line.
The IT Product Line Lead for Learning primary responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Leads and manages the Learning product line, ensuring the successful implementation, enhancement, and support of all Learning solutions
Collaborates with Learning and HR business colleagues to foster a strong partnership to understand the product line vision and strategy, business requirements, design solutions, and ensure alignment with business goals
Defines the product line vision, strategy, and roadmap in conjunction with partners and value team with a keen focus on value, business outcomes, and user experience
Gains deep subject-matter expertise with key learning and HR business processes, systems, interfaces, and data
Owns all Product Line level discovery activities and the prioritization of problems and opportunities
Works closely with Technical and Design Leads to remove obstacles for the team and ensure Product Line goals are met
Builds, manages, mentors, and coaches squads consisting of direct reports, indirect reports, and external partners.
Drives a transparent prioritization process with a detailed analysis of impact vs. value and monitors risks and dependencies across the Product Line
Drives team focus on ensuring high customer satisfaction and continuous improvements in delivery efficiency and quality including best practice product agile operations across the team, with clear definitions of success and clear metrics to measure the progress to success.
Stays current with Learning, HR, and automation trends, best practices, and innovation opportunities
Proactively monitors the measures defined to determine value being delivered
Manages and measures the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for the product line and makes informed decisions which will lead to TCO optimization.
Ensures financial and governance reporting, issues, risks, support, and status communication to all stakeholders is timely, complete, and accurate
Stays current with Talent Management trends, best practices, and innovation opportunities
The ideal candidate will possess the IT skills and experience to effectively contribute to the successful delivery of the technical strategy and roadmap and the ongoing maintenance, support and operations across the product line.
Position Qualifications:
Education Minimum Requirement:
Bachelor’s Degree
Required Experience and Skills
Minimum of 10 years of relevant IT experience, with at least 2+ years of technical leadership experience using Agile methodologies
Demonstrated experience in building and supporting large-scale IT solutions using modern technologies
Leadership and management skills, with proven abilities to set direction, lead, and motivate team members
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to quickly establish credibility and trust with a variety of stakeholders as well as ability to align the organization on complex technical decisions
Strong strategic acumen, analytical, innovative, proactive, and self-directed.
Knowledge and working experience of SaaS/Cloud-based HR learning technologies, such as Workday, Microsoft Viva, SAP Success Factors, and Axonify
Critical thinking who can effectively embrace new ideas and technologies while balancing the needs of stakeholders and users
Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills and experience, analytical with
