Software Engineer

What does a successful Software Engineer do at Fiserv? 

In partnership with our Enterprise Architecture team, you'll consult on and develop systems used by key Fiserv clients. You will drive mission-critical platforms that support clients using our UI applications. By leading technical development, taking charge of guiding the development team in building innovative solutions, and ensuring smooth integration of front-end and back-end technologies, you’ll bring efficient product delivery. 

What you will do: 

• Lead and drive front-end application design and development 
• Design and develop distributed, highly scalable, efficient, and fault-tolerant systems
• Validate logical models, ensuring standards, driving consolidation of redundant data, and enforcing the strategic vision through data models
• Work in Agile teams to deliver user stories on time and at high quality 
• Consult with business leadership on the design of systems and projects
• Consult with project teams and functional units on the design of important projects or services

What you will need to have: 

• 5+ years of experience in software development 
• 5+ years of experience with front-end technologies like Angular, React, JavaScript, HTML, etc. 
• Experience with mainframe technologies
• Experience with Fiserv platforms
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience 

What would be great to have: 

• Experience with both relational and non-relational databases
