Senior Surgical Technician

Senior Surgical Technician in Surgical Services at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Fullerton, CA.  This is a full-time position that will work 8-hour Day shifts.

Performs a variety of technical duties to scrub in surgery. Prepares operating rooms for surgery, using appropriate techniques.  Provides technical services and assists in operating room as assigned and directed.  Serves as a resource along with the RN Specialty Coordinator for at least one surgical specialty.

Required Qualifications:

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Upon hire: National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting, or,
• Upon hire: National Certified Surgical Technician - Healthcare Professionals Competency Testing 
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Within 30 days of hire: California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization 
• 5 years scrub experience.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
