Summary: Play a key role in national patient education team efforts by producing education programs via multimedia platforms to further educate blood cancer patients and their caregivers on their diagnosis, and treatment options, as well as promote patient/caregiver self-advocacy. Manager will promote and implement these education programs. Bilingual Spanish Program Manager will increase Spanish language patient and caregiver offerings, through podcasts, virtual lectures, and other platforms.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Produce and manage multi-media programming to educate and support patients and caregivers utilizing engaging platforms with easy-to-understand content.
• Content management and creation/editing of learning objectives for webcasts, virtual lectures, video clips and podcasts.
• Host Spanish language podcasts.
• Manage Spanish language podcast from concept development, to securing speakers and organizing the program template for the podcast.
• Develop and edit Spanish content for videos, webinars, and virtual lectures.
• Edit Spanish to English and English to Spanish closed captioning for Spanish language programming utilizing different editing programs such as VEED
• Review and edit program evaluation and compile data on program effectiveness, reach, and other key metrics to monitor progress internally and demonstrate program efficacy.
• Record and maintain patient and caregiver participation in patient education programs.
• Manage pre-program activities, such as correspondence between LLS and the education vendor, create and edit content and promotional materials for the program.
• Manage post-program activities, including all correspondence with the speakers, education vendor, participants, and supporters to ensure that all facets of post-production are completed within the timeframe of the program.
• Facilitate the promotion of programs internally as the point of contact with LLS collaterals and interfacing with Constituent Experience Marketing/ Communications and Social Media teams within the organization as well as expanding LLS reach by increasing program awareness outside of the organization and creating cross-promotional opportunities.
• Collaborate with other team members on the creation of presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Present and represent LLS patient education team at internal and external conferences.
• Edit podcast for content on podcast transcript.
• Co-host English language podcasts.
• Maintain excellent knowledge of the LLS mission and programs.
• Maintain oversight of organization of patient education assets in our content management system (SharePoint).
• Pull patient and professional postal address and email lists from our software program (Salesforce).
• Gather quarterly metrics for departments quarterly reports.
• Attend conferences and symposiums on behalf of department as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in health education or related field preferred.
• English and Spanish proficiency-spoken & written.
• 2-3 years’ relevant experience working in a non-profit and/or healthcare delivery setting.
• At least 1 year program management experience.
• Multi-media experience a plus.

• Experience and skills in problem solving, relationship and network building, and educational programming.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to articulate the LLS Mission (Research, Patient & Professional Programs, Advocacy/Policy) to a wide audience in English and Spanish
• Understanding of health behavior and health care delivery systems
• Ability to build, leverage, and maintain community relationships
• Strong priority-setting and program management skills
• Able to work with others in a wide variety of disciplines, e.g., vendors, staff, patients, and volunteers.
