Overview
Devis is seeking a Program/Task Manager to join our team in support of the Defense Health Agency Business Operations and Executive Support Services contract. The successful candidate will serve as the primary task manager overseeing teams supporting all the task areas and is responsible for effectively managing contractor personnel, ensuring contract compliance, and maintaining high-quality service delivery. This role is contingent upon award and is on site in Falls Church, VA.

Overview
Devis is seeking a Program/Task Manager to join our team in support of the Defense Health Agency Business Operations and Executive Support Services contract. The successful candidate will serve as the primary task manager overseeing teams supporting all the task areas and is responsible for effectively managing contractor personnel, ensuring contract compliance, and maintaining high-quality service delivery. This role is contingent upon award and is on site in Falls Church, VA.
Primary Duties
- Lead and manage teams of contract support personnel performing work across multiple BOESS task areas
- Coordinate activities with government representatives and manage subcontractor performance
- Hire/interview candidates with appropriate skills for supporting legacy products and modernization efforts
- Monitor and evaluate contract performance metrics to ensure alignment with government requirements
- Develop and implement strategies to maintain skillsets within the contractor workforce to meet evolving mission needs
- Serve as a primary point of contact for conflict resolution and problem-solving
- Ensure compliance with all cybersecurity requirements and regulatory standards
- Track task progress and proactively identify potential issues affecting deliverables
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of active experience as a Task Manager leading/managing a team of similar size and complexity
- Demonstrated experience providing staffing support for technical and administrative requirements
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills and effective interpersonal abilities
- Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated with high attention to detail
- Strong leadership capabilities with proven expertise in team management
- Experience interacting with senior government officials
- Proficiency in management tools and systems used by the Defense Health Agency
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience supporting Department
