Position Summary:

AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Columbus, Mississippi that is an international pioneer in the aerospace industry. They are a leader in designing, manufacturing and delivering aerospace products, services and solutions to customers on a global scale. A commercial aircraft manufacturer, with Space and Defense as well as Helicopters Divisions, they are the largest aeronautics and space company in Europe and a worldwide leader. We are looking for a Sr. Aircraft Technician - Electrical Backshop who is seeking their next opportunity in a complex and ever-changing work environment!

Responsibilities

• Instruct and mentor less experience technicians in tasks.
• Read and follow detailed plans, diagrams and different standards in the fabrication of wire harnesses and electrical components
• Troubleshoot and rework discrepancies and faults.
• Install solder shields, splices, daisy chains and different electronic components such as resistors, capacitors and diodes etc...
• Soldering of connectors, contacts and components. 
• Completing forms and records pertaining to completion of assigned work.

Requirements

• Minimum of six (6) years related aviation electrical experience.
• Current FCC license is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
• Familiarity with common aviation type tooling.
• US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license)
