Your Specific Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for scheduling appointments, updating demographic information (address, phone, insurance), determining eligibility for the sliding fee discount program, check-out, and cashiering. Employee will be expected to report to work in a timely manner and begin work at the appointed time. The employee will have a positive attitude and display excellent customer service skills in all interactions with internal or external customers. 

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including MS Outlook, WORD and EXCEL
  • Proficiency in data entry.
  • Basic knowledge and application of office machines and equipment, including computer, copier, telephone, and fax.
  • Ability to adapt to new tasks and/or situations.
  • Manages a variety of responsibilities in a timely, efficient manner and able to prioritize tasks.

 

Qualifications:

Minimum

  • Incumbent must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Incumbent must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Incumbent must obtain Incident Command System (ICS-100) certification within 60 days and National Incident Management System (IS-700) certification within 90 days of employment.
  • Incumbent must complete the Family Planning Title X mandatory trainings within 30 days of employment,

Preferred

  • Have experience working in a clinical setting.
  • Have experience verifying insurance coverages.
