Sr. Software Engineer, Robotics

<h2>Overview</h2> <p>We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Robotics) to join our engineering team in Athens, Greece. In this role, you’ll help design and implement core software powering next-generation intelligent audio, video, and control systems. You’ll work on robotics-inspired components that bring spatial awareness, automation, and adaptive control to real environments.</p> <p>This is a hands-on technical position where you’ll contribute to C++ and Python systems, collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, and mentor junior engineers as part of a collaborative, innovation-driven group.</p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Design and develop robust software modules in C++ and Python for real-time and distributed systems.</li> <li>Integrate robotics-inspired control and sensor fusion logic into scalable AV frameworks.</li> <li>Build, test, and maintain system APIs, interfaces, and automation pipelines.</li> <li>Work closely with architects and technical leads to deliver production-ready, high-performance components.</li> <li>Mentor junior engineers, promote best practices, and drive technical quality.</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <p>· 5+ years of experience in C++ (C++17 or newer) and Python.</p> <p>· Strong foundation in ROS1/ROS2, control systems, or real-time robotics architectures.</p> <p>· Experience with distributed or embedded systems and API-driven integration.</p> <p>· Solid problem-solving, debugging, and system design skills.</p> <p>· Team-oriented, proactive, and eager to explore new technologies.</p> <p> </p> <p>Nice to Have: </p> <p>· Experience with audio/video systems, real-time streaming, or AV networking.</p> <p>· Familiarity with sensor integration, spatial analytics, or mechatronic systems.</p> <p>· Knowledge of performance optimization for embedded or edge environments.</p>
