System Engineer, Senior

In support of a DISA, the Intel and Cyber Division is assembling a team to support a program that provides critical network capabilities to the Department of Defense. Responsibilities: 

• Assess and identify appropriate solutions based on system requirements
• Manage and maintain an IT enterprise centered around Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and related products
• Design and implement system applications and configurations
• Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools
• Identify and diagnose complex performance, security, and technical issues
• Performing system and software updates to enhance performance
• Develop and implement solutions across a wide range of technologies
• Implement and maintain DISA STIG requirements
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

Requirements:

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI 
• High school diploma with 8+ years of relevant work experience
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT-II or IAM-I baseline certification requirements such as Security + or equivalent
• Fluency in both MS Windows based services and also Cisco and Brocade Networking solutions
• Experience with Windows Server 2019, Citrix Xen Desktop, VMware ESXi, Active Directory, SAN, SQL 2012/16, VCP 7.X
• Demonstrate ability to provide advanced/senior level support and guidance on the configuration, integration and maintenance of (at a minimum) IBM, HP, CISCO, Brocade, TACLANE, DELL hardware and software
• Demonstrate ability to provide advanced/senior level support with the engineering/architecture, deployment and support of MS Windows server –2008R2 - 2016 (data center), all aspects of efficient and secure management of Active Directory and its associated services, MS Exchange, MS SQL Server, MS System Center/Operations Manager
• Expert level knowledge and support for virtual and cloud-based technologies; emphasis on ESXi, Xen Desktop and CISCO UCS and the deployment and sustainment thereof
• Experience in management and control of complex information systems architectures, systems involving multiple disparate networks, and communications subsystems
• Experience in the installation, configuring, and managing of Nutanix, Trellix, VMware, and Infoblox
• Demonstrated experience in security requirements associated with DoD enterprise systems
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint
• Ability to travel up to 25%

Preferred: 

• VMware certification VCP 6.x 
• Experience with Infoblox
• Experience with Nutanix
• Experience with Commvault 11.x 
• Experience with System Center Configuration Manager 2012 or higher 
• Experience with Windows Server 2019, SQL 2016, SharePoint 2016, and other related technologies 
• Experience with Microsoft Exchange 2016 
• Experience developing IT checklists, SOPs, guides, etc.
