Energy Data Analyst – Energy Data Management 

Location: Budapest

Based in Budapest, our Energy Data Management team plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of energy invoice data across international markets. As an Energy Data Analyst, you’ll work with our proprietary invoice processing software to manage historical consumption data, analyze financial records, and support our mission to deliver reliable energy services worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

In partnership with Data Management and Client Management teams, you will:

• Engage with energy suppliers across global markets to collect historical consumption data and monthly invoice copies.
• Ensure data accuracy by preparing internal quality check reports and validating information in our finance systems.
• Maintain and update customer energy supply portfolios in our internal database.
• Resolve queries through professional communication with suppliers and key account managers via email and phone.
• Support cross-functional teams to ensure smooth service delivery and operational excellence.

 

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual with a passion for data and problem-solving. Ideal candidates will have:

• Strong analytical and numerical skills – essential for working with large datasets.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Hungarian – written and verbal.
• A degree in a relevant field (e.g., economics, mathematics, engineering, or data science) is preferred.
• High attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently on project-based tasks.
• Previous experience in analytical roles is a plus, but not required – we value potential and a willingness to learn!
