Associate Patient Care Technician - Emergency at St Joseph Hospital-Orange. Positions available may include Day and Night shifts. You will work 12-hour shifts in this role. Schedule can be discussed during the interview.
Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, Clinical Coordinator, and Department Manager, provides care to the Emergency Department or Critical Care patient.

Required Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: Completion of 1 clinical semester of nursing school or equivalent education/experience
- 1 year as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Corpsman in the Armed Services, PCT, or
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in an acute hospital setting, sub-acute long term care setting or outpatient/home health setting.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) - provided by St. Joseph Hospital within 90 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience working in an emergency department as an EMT or CNA.
