Position: Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant

Compensation: starting at $27.00/Hr.

Incentives: $2500 sign on bonus and/or indefinite student loan help

 

 

Our NovaCare Middletown MD outpatient orthopedic center is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide top-notch patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. We welcome LPTAs of all experience levels able to offer onsite mentorship for a new graduate PTA. We treat a diverse population including sports medicine and pediatrics on top of general ortho with additional clinicians on staff.

 

Our highly trained and respected clinical team provides treatment services that maximize functionality and promote the best optimal outcomes for our patients. We take pride in creating an exceptional patient experience, helping all of our patients get back to athletics, work, life, and the things they love. 

 

Schedule: Full time 40 hour weekdays treating until 700PM twice a week. Last patient is schedule an hour prior to close. Early days begin at 730A.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
  • Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
  • Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

  • College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
  • Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
  • Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
  • CPR certification
