Compensation: $40.08 - $40.08/hour

Tessera is seeking a skilled Plumber to assemble, install, and repair heating, water, and drainage systems at Naval Base Kitsap, Bangor. This role involves reading and interpreting building plans, preparing work areas, and ensuring plumbing installations comply with specifications and codes. Working under supervision, the Plumber will support safe, efficient operations while building hands-on experience in a variety of plumbing tasks. 

 

Typical duties include but are not limited to:  

  • Assist with maintenance, installation, inspection, and repair of plumbing systems, including water, sewer, gas, air, steam, pools, and related equipment. 

  • Clear blockages and maintain drain lines, floor drains, vents, and storm drainage systems. 

  • Repair or replace faucets, joints, valves, pumps, and plumbing fixtures to ensure efficient system operation. 

  • Install and service domestic, industrial, and commercial plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, showers, heaters, and disposals. 

  • Support preventive maintenance, inspections, and fire protection system component
