Position Overview: One of our Department of State contracts is seeking an experienced Business Analyst (Intermediate) to provide essential program support. The ideal candidate will excel at clearly and effectively communicating complex information. In this role, the ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze metrics, helping to build a comprehensive metrics catalog. A solid understanding of process improvement methodologies is required to ensure that all documentation and procedures align with established standards and best practices.


Clearance Requirement: Candidates must hold a minimum Interim Secret clearance and be able to secure a full scope Secret clearance once on contract
Work Location: Washington, DC
Work Schedule (Hybrid): Three (3) days onsite at the customer's facility and two (2) remote days; work schedule is subject to change based on customer needs and without prior notice.


Key Responsibilities:
• Develop comprehensive and professional documentation and articulate responses for leadership, ensuring clarity, precision, and alignment with organizational goals and standards
• Draft action memos, process and procedures and draft emails to senior leaderships
• Draft Findings Remediation Plans, and status updates
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to collect and analyze metrics, contributing to the creation of a comprehensive metrics catalog
• Promote CMMI and ISO principles and foster a culture of continuous improvement
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding of task objectives, deadlines, risks, and resource demands
• Assist in the identification of process improvements and support implementation efforts
• Participate in meetings and presentations, conveying complex information in a cogent and understandable manner
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings to gather requirements, clarify expectations, and ensure alignment on project objectives
• Monitor tasks progress and performance metrics, providing regular updates to stakeholders and suggesting adjustments as necessary
• Develop, implement and maintain executive dashboards using PowerBI and/or other tools that offer leadership visual representation of project activities
• Identify risks and challenges in project execution and work with teams to develop mitigation strategies
• Research industry trends and recommend process changes that drive innovative solutions

Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be a United States Citizen and present proof of Citizenship, if selected
• 4+ years proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, demonstrating a strong track record of delivering high-quality documentation and analysis in a professional environment
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proficient with Word, PowerPoint and project management tools and scheduler
• Ability to write process and procedures
• Experience in metrics collection and analysis, with a strong analytical mindset to derive actionable insights from data
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies, including requirements gathering, and process mapping
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of open communication and continuous improvement
• Experience in a government or federal environment is highly desirable, with an understanding of the unique challenges and requirements in this context
