Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Engineer for John Deere in Moline, IL, you will:
- Perform hands-on code development and delivery of applications dealing with processing of equipment data collected from Deere equipment and some third-party sources;
- Work within AWS web services in developing solutions;
- Provide guidance to other team members through solution design, technical coaching and code reviews.
- This is a 100% remote position. Can live anywhere in the U.S.
What Skills You Need
- 4 years of experience in design and develop low latency, high volume, distributed, and scalable applications using Java, TDD (Test Driven Development), and Agile practices
- 3 years of experience in working in cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure or GCP
- 3 years of experience in designing and implementing CICD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Drone or GitHub Actions
- 2 years of experience in design and develop web-based applications using Spring Framework, RESTful Web Services and JDBC
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology or related field plus 4 years related experience.

$135,000 - $145,000 per year + Benefits
