Analyst, Global Accounting & Intercompany, COE

The primary responsibilities of the Global Accounting & Intercompany department are to obtain an understanding of current company-wide accounting/finance policies, ownership, and maintenance of accounting guidance, thresh holds and cutoff while driving standardization and synergies. The job responsibilities associated with the core tasks are outlined below:

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

1. Manage Intercompany workbench process which is used to account for intercompany transactions between NOAM legal entities (US, CAD & Caribbean). This includes coordination with Controllership, AP, AR and various other cross functional teams.
2. Maintenance of the Inter-Company Monthly Statements for trade between SW Ohio & International Divisions.  The statements detail all I/C activity between SW Ohio and their foreign trading partners including invoices and payment applications. In additional to preparation of statement work with Global Accounting & Intercompany, COE team members to review and resolve intercompany discrepancies. 
3. Coordinate with various International Accounting teams to issue intercompany invoices/credit memos on a monthly/ad hoc basis.
4. Accounting responsibility for the Virtual Trader (VT) Automated Inter-company (I/C) system.  Including review of invoice data within the VT database to allow for the successful matching of the receivable and payable invoices using OnBase and Trade Automation.  Prepare the VT Unmatched, Discrepancy and ICS Matched reports used to complete the reconciliations.
5. Prepare monthly intercompany account reconciliations and investigate/resolve reconciling items
6. Special Projects - Participate in Finance & Business Transformation initiatives as needed. 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

FORMAL EDUCATION: 

Required:

• Bachelor degree with Major in Accounting or Finance
• Knowledge of US GAAP

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

• Minimum of two years of accounting, finance, or auditing experience
• MS Office experience

Preferred:

• Certified Public Accountant (or reasonable equivalent) or CPA eligible 
• Experience with Oracle General Ledger 
• Experience with OneStream tool.

TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Required:

• Effectively manage through various systems including Oracle Cloud, Oracle R12 and OneStream. 
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels including management
