Schedule: Mon-Fri Full-Time
Salary: Positions follows the 2025-2027 Teacher Salary Schedule

SUMMARY: The elementary English Learner (EL) Teacher creates an engaging, nurturing, and safe learning environment that allows learners to develop their physical, social, and emotional wellbeing; provides instruction, future-ready skills, knowledge, and dispositions to be compassionate, lifelong-learners, and contributing citizens in a rapidly changing world.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
- Instruction: Design and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans tailored to English Language Development.
- Assessment: Evaluate student progress through standardized tests, formal assignments, and informal daily observations.
- Collaboration: Partner with general classroom teachers to modify mainstream assignments and co-teach, ensuring EL students have access to all subjects.
- Cultural Advocacy: Act as a cultural guide and advocate for students and their families, helping them navigate new social norms and community resources
