About Our Job
This is a limited position with an end date of June 2026 and the possibility to be extended.

Denver’s Public Safety Department includes Denver Police, Denver Fire, Denver 911, Denver Sheriff, Community Corrections and also oversees the Public Safety Cadet Program.
The Department of Safety is currently looking for a Case Manager to join our Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion (LEAD) team. This response includes trauma-informed care, wraparound services, and harm reduction principles.
Candidates can expect to work a Monday - Friday, 8:00A-5:00P schedule. This position is not currently or will be in the future eligible for remote work.
The Case Manager duties include:

The Case Manager will provide screening to gauge program suitability, create a plan for safety and follow-up alongside the officer.
Work with clients to complete a biopsychosocial assessment, client-centered goal plan, and provide individualized and intensive case management and support toward goal attainment.
Carry low caseloads (average of 15-18 active participants), with the goal of maximizing capacity to provide intensive case management services.
Engage in on-going coaching, motivation, engagement, facilitate problem-solving with clients, and empower them to resolve immediate and recurring problems and barriers to receiving and/or participating in services or programs. Monitors eligibility for services by ensuring clients are following through with their agreed-upon responsibilities.
