Location Designation: Hybrid - 3 days per week
New York Life’s Digital Service team is looking for a Communications Delivery Manager! He/she will be responsible for the successful development and delivery of service communications to policy owners. This person will be part of a broader team dedicated to providing best-in-class, relevant, impactful content through multiple communications channels with a primary focus on digital.
The Communications Delivery Manager will lead a team of Business Analysts/Developers who are responsible for the development of multi-channel Service communications. This includes capturing content, data requirements and business rules for each communication and working alongside Product Owners responsible for modernizing our communications development platform to create the communications. The Communications Delivery Manager makes decisions on any escalated questions or concerns from the team and/or our business partners.
The Communications Delivery Manager will also participate in agile planning meetings and have strong knowledge and experience working on agile teams. He/she is required to have an in depth understanding of developing and managing content including naming conventions and brand and style requirements, how content works in our communications platforms, how to gather, document, and track business requirements and how to code content and business rules.
The Communications Delivery Manager works closely with various business partners (e.g., Copywriting, Testing, Digital Notifications, Technology, Product, Legal, Compliance).
Major Responsibilities:

Managing a team of business analysts responsible for researching, developing, and deploying customer communications

Managing the successful delivery of routine and project-related communications

Making decisions on any escalated questions or concerns from the team and/or our business partners (e.g., Service, Product, Legal, and Compliance)

Developing content for complex communications. This involves working closely with the Communications Modernization team, Technology, subject matter experts and stakeholders (e.g., Service, Copywriting, Testing, Product, Legal, and Compliance) to understand and document business requirements and data needs

Maintaining the content management database

Maintaining and updating the style elements for communications in accordance with branding protocols
Qualifications/Skills:

Bachelor’s degree
-
5-10 years of experience
-
Business analysis and coding communications experience

Agile experience and scrum methodology preferred

Must have a business understanding of content authoring/management platforms (e.g., OpenText Exstream) and content management methodologies

Experience with data mining, data analysis, and database management a plus

Salary range: $115,000-$150,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
