Mount Sinai South Nassau in Oceanside, NY is currently seeking a full-time board certified Palliative Care Specialist!
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) is an integrated health care system providing exceptional medical care to local and global communities. The hospital has been awarded the Joint Commission’s gold seal of approval for disease-specific care for heart failure, primary stroke, hip replacement, knee replacement, wound care, bariatric surgery, and end-stage renal disease, and recently was re-accredited as one of first programs in the US by the Infectious Diseases Society of America as a Center of Excellence for Antimicrobial Stewardship.
Designated a Magnet® hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) for outstanding nursing care, South Nassau also offers Novalis Tx™ and Gamma Knife® radiosurgery technologies, and operates the only Trauma Center on the South Shore of Nassau County verified by the American College of Surgeons. MSSN has a large critical care and elderly patient population and a very busy hematology / oncology service as part of our renowned Feil Cancer Center which works closely with the NCI Cancer Program at Mount Sinai.

The division of Palliative Care is currently composed of four Palliative Care physicians. This division provides 100 consults monthly to our inpatient units, Critical Care units and Emergency Department.

• New York Medical License
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Palliative Care

Compensation range from 210K to 225K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)
