Manages the operations of a gift shop facility and is responsible for promoting and ensuring a profitable retail outlet and revenue source. INTEGRIS Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.

The Manager Retail responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 

* Manages financial operations and development opportunities of fiscal growth of retail locations including deposits and inventory control. 

* Manages department staff, including hiring, evaluating performance and competency, and conducting disciplinary/counseling sessions as needed 

* Meets with vendors and/or attends various wholesale marketplaces for the purpose of purchasing traditional, current and seasonal merchandise 

* Coordinates special events and sales for inventory reduction and increase fiscal growth 

* Oversees daily operations of gift shop to include financial responsibilities, employee payroll deductions and invoice payment. 

* Develops business practices and reporting systems 

* Develops service area descriptions and procedures for staff and volunteers Reports to assigned leader This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements. Minimal exposure to hazardous risks including the use of a box knife. Exposed to frequent interruptions, high sales volume, requests for information by volunteers, general public, in person or on the telephone and financial deadlines, etc. Frequently must work in overcrowded workroom and storage area when unpacking, marking and storing new merchandise. * Completion of commercial/business courses 

* Bachelors degree in business management or accounting preferred 

* 4 years retail operation/management experience

 * Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written)
