Reporting to the Senior Director of Growth Marketing, the Senior Manager of Marketing Operations is responsible for leading and overseeing the teams executing key marketing operations out of the Marketing Automation system and the Content Management system. As the leader of the Marketing Operations team, this position will play a pivotal role in building and operationalizing marketing programs that enhance the customer experience to accelerate business performance.
This position is part of the Global Marketing Organization located in Colorado - US, and will be Remote.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
- Identify, develop and implement scalable solutions for improved email channel operational performance.
- Implement global and regional marketing campaigns, including setting up email automation workflows, conducting A/B testing, list selection, nurturing, triggers and segmentation. Ensure adherence to global best practices and optimize campaigns for regional effectiveness.
- Implement and manage UTM tracking and conversion data integration to accurately measure campaign performance and tie conversion / engagement in channel to actual revenue.
- Report team operational efficiencies and KPIs through daily management and identify areas of improvement within team as well as with other stakeholders.
- Serve as contact point to resolve operational system-related issues. Work as customer advocate with a wide range of internal resources to ensure any quality or user issues are resolved.
- Align resources with external vendors and partners for development and campaign support as needed.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems, or a related field preferred. Formal training or certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile, or Wrike-specific training) is a strong plus.
- 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional marketing or technology projects using project management tools such as Wrike, Asana, Jira, or similar.
- Proven experience managing a project management platform (preferably Wrike), including system configuration, team onboarding/training, process documentation, reporting/dashboard creation, and ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Experience in a marketing operations or digital production environment preferred, with a strong understanding of how marketing systems (e.g., CMS, marketing automation, CRM, analytics platforms) integrate into broader enterprise architecture.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (such as Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress, Content Stack, or similar), including workflows and collaboration with web production teams.
- Basic understanding of data and reporting structures, including dashboard building and metrics tracking within project management or marketing systems.
