$106800 to $160200

Job Description

We are seeking an Employer Stop Loss Senior Underwriter who will be responsible for risk assessment, analyzing and underwriting new and renewal business for our Employer Stop Loss product.  The position is responsible for producing a profitable book of business working through select brokers, consultants and reinsurance intermediaries. Opportunity to supervise a team of Assistant Underwriters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review underwriting information, develop rates and terms for Employer Stop Loss accounts based upon underwriting rules, guidelines, pricing methodologies and account specific data
• Market-facing responsibilities include interacting with brokers, consultants and reinsurance intermediaries as necessary
• Lead, manage and develop the ESL Assistant Underwriting team.
• Accountable for thorough internal and external communication and the explanation of all underwriting decisions
• Provide management reports and maintain key data systems as required
• Responsible for all aspects of account management and producer relationships to maximize profitability and meet service standards
