The Retail Certified Pharmacy Technician (Pharmacy Technician 2) is an in person, patient facing position that will support the Retail Pharmacy efforts in a Pharmacy that is embedded in a Primary Care Clinic. This is a Full Time Position. The Pharmacy Technician 2 obtains new prescriptions and prescription refill information. Performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs pharmacy calculations, such as days supply for insulin, etc. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.
The Pharmacy Technician will be required to be on their feet, handle multiple tasks as needed to fulfill a medication and answer patients' questions, in person and over the phone obtains new prescriptions and prescription refill information.
The Pharmacy Technician 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.
Hours of Operation are Monday - Friday from 8-4:30PM
The Pharmacy Technician 2 retrieves, counts, and measures drugs. Assists Pharmacist in price-checking and restocking of drugs. Accesses, inputs, and retrieves prescription information from computer. Refers physicians' calls and any medical questions to pharmacist. May operate a cash register. Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.

Required Qualifications
- Less than 3 years of technical experience
- Must have an active license with the Florida Board of Pharmacy in the appropriate state
- Must Have National Certification, (PTCB)
- This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana/Senior Bridge's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
