Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor (m/f/d), Construction Projects

That means delivering better outcomes for our clients, helping our people to realize their potential, and doing our part to create a prosperous society.<br/> Every day we help our major global clients deliver ambitious and highly technical projects, in over 118 offices worldwide.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>We have an exciting opportunity in our real estate sector in Munich with projects range from multiple complex small projects, through to large, new build projects.</p><p>Tasks:</p><ul><li>Develop, implement and maintain cost management procedures and processes to support projects from inception to completion.</li><li>Prepare preliminary, elemental and detailed estimates of construction and related costs.</li><li>Review and evaluate / value-engineer design and outline specifications and exercise cost control in conjunction with the project team.</li><li>During the construction phase, prepare regular cost reports, cashflow forecasts and progress valuations for payment.</li><li>Prepare pro-active estimates for variations.</li><li>Carry out project cost performance analysis to support reporting.</li><li>Undertake quantitative and qualitative risk analysis on the project costs.</li><li>Identify the key programme cost issues and focus attention on the critical elements for delivery within the project.</li><li>Identify significant areas of risk based upon forecast information within the cost reports.</li><li>Communication of the cost management standards throughout the planning and construction teams.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Real Estate or similar.</li><li>Ideally qualified as a registered Quantity Surveyor.</li><li>A minimum of 5 years proven experience on constructions projects.</li><li>English skills are required as well as a good command of German (min.
