The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
We are seeking an experienced Workday HCM Functional Lead to oversee and manage the functional implementation, optimization, and support of Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions. This role requires deep expertise in Workday HCM modules, strong project leadership skills, and the ability to work closely with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to drive system efficiencies and enhancements. 

As a Workday HCM Lead you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Leading and managing end-to-end Workday HCM implementations or enhancements, including gathering requirements, designing solutions, testing, and deployment.
• Supporting Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestures activity across the organization
• Collaborating with business and technical teams to understand business needs and translating them into system requirements and configuration.
• Managing system configuration, business processes, security roles, and reporting within Workday.
• Leading Workday release management by analyzing new features, assessing business impacts, and coordinating testing and adoption.

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND seven (7) years of Workday configuration experience in a private, public, government or military environment

OR

• High School Diploma/GED AND eleven (11) years of Workday configuration experience in a private, public, government or military environment

AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

• 2 years of experience in a lead or senior functional role
• Understanding of Workday HCM modules, reporting tools (Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields), and business process framework.
• Experience leading Workday HCM implementations or post-go-live optimization projects.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience with Workday Advanced Compensation, Payroll, or Time Tracking.
• Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Previous experience in global or enterprise-level environments.
• Agile/Scrum project experience or certification.
• Workday Pro Certification(s) preferred.
