For more information, visit <a href="http://wunderflats.com/">wunderflats.com</a>.</p> <p></p><h3><strong>The Role</strong></h3> <p>We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive <strong>Senior Controller</strong> to drive financial planning, reporting, and business case modelling. This role plays a critical part in budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring, ensuring financial accuracy and transparency. </p> <p>The ideal candidate will challenge assumptions, identify inefficiencies, and communicate insights effectively, helping leadership make informed decisions. You would report directly to the CFO and work closely with our two co-founders. </p> <h3><strong>Your Responsibilities</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Develop and track business cases, ensuring actual performance aligns with projections and adjusting forecasts accordingly.</li> <li>Identify areas of overspending, refine budgets, and optimize financial plans to enhance profitability.</li> <li>Prepare financial reports in compliance with HGB, IFRS, and internal policies.</li> <li>Collaborate independently with the different departments and stakeholders to uncover insights, proactively informing the CFO of discrepancies, and support strategic initiatives.</li> <li>Present financial findings clearly, ensuring the CFO and leadership team have the necessary insights.</li> <li>Drive efficiency improvements in financial processes, leveraging technology and automation where possible.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>How you will add value </strong></h3> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of HGB, IFRS, and FP&amp;A best practices.</li> <li>Proficiency in business case modelling, forecasting tools, and ERP systems (e.g., Business Central).</li> <li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.</li> <li>Ability to challenge assumptions, communicate findings clearly, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What's in it for you?</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>#CollaborativeCulture:</strong> Join our international team in a vibrant scale-up environment where your contributions matter.
