Warehouse Associate I

Dorman Products, a $1B global supplier of automotive parts, is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our growing team in our Reno location (Powertrain Industries) on our day shift: Mon-Fri  8:30 AM - 5:00PM.

 

What you'll be doing:

• Prepare packaged items for shipment.
• Schedule carriers for delivery on pickups.
• Load and unload of materials and products; confirm quantity of items received.
• Maintain a detailed shipping and receiving log, documenting all materials entering and leaving the warehouse.
• Retain inventory, including stocking shelves; maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
• Utilize and operate correct inventory control systems.

 

What we're looking for:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to learn and retain new information
• Basic computer skills; Windows system, email and Internet
• Detail oriented
• Ability to calculate basic math: add, subtract, multiply and divide
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Capable of maintaining flexibility on tasks assigned
• Essential in this position, a good attitude and attendance
• OSHA or Work Safety knowledge is a plus
• Ability to properly lift, pack, stack and wrap up 50 pounds on a regular basis
