About the role
Joining the Kittle Property Group Design Team as an Architect is a unique opportunity to work with leaders who bring a wealth of knowledge and collaborate with a team that truly enjoys working together. We're looking for a dedicated Architect to join us onsite at our corporate office, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our projects and community.
**Architect Position**
**Location:** Onsite at the Kittle Property Group Corporate Office

**About the Role:**
As an Architect at Kittle Property Group, you will be responsible for the cost-effective design of building construction documents across new construction, rehab, and historic projects. You'll oversee third-party design contracts and coordinate with structural, MEP, and civil vendors. Your work will support our mission of excellence, innovation, and community commitment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Pre-Design:** Attend site evaluation meetings, provide design drawings for tax credit applications, and prepare site layouts and elevations.
- **Construction Documentation:** Lead project design teams, coordinate with engineering consultants, and prepare contract documents for permitting and construction.
- **Construction Administration:** Monitor construction compliance, review drawings and manuals, and approve monthly draw requests.
**Qualifications:**
- 5-8 years of architectural experience, preferably in multi-family, hotel, or assisted living projects.
- State license, current and registered with NCARB (proof required).
- Proficient in CAD, AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, and Adobe Creative Suites.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and accessibility requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

- Provide preliminary design drawings to assigned state and federally funded tax credit applications. The use of fundamental standard urban planning, landscape, civil engineering practices to accurately depict community size, unit quantities and amenities
- Prepare scale drawings of site, building layout and elevations
- Consult with estimating to ensure design is fully aligned with Construction Budget
- Consult with client/department to determine functional and spatial requirements of proposed project(s)
- Coordinate documentation of any existing structures for renovation project
- Represent client/KPG in obtaining bids and review awarding consultant contracts
