Your Role:
This position will be responsible for the various duties involved in planning and executing the daily warehouse activities. This includes the ability to plan the daily inbound and outbound activities, along with the balancing of the workload between all activities, including the supplying of Production with the materials to meet production scheduling needs. This position also communicates within and outside the department and site to ensure mutual goals are met in the best possible manner. This role completes special projects as assigned by the Logistics Manager.
Physical Attributes:
- Lift up to 70 pounds on a regular basis
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- 2+ years experience in a warehouse or material handling environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of any college level coursework
- Ability to use Microsoft Office
- Former Warehouse Lead or Supervisor experience
- Ability to work independently and solve problems
- Ability to set priorities according to the needs of the department
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to obtain forklift operator’s certification
