Caregiver Responsibilities

Responsibilities may vary depending on the client’s individual needs and care plan, but can include:

Providing companionship and emotional support
Assisting with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and toileting
Light housekeeping and laundry
Meal preparation and feeding assistance
Transportation to appointments and errands
Following individualized care plans
Helping clients maintain safety, comfort, and independence
Communicating professionally with families and team members
Other caregiving duties as assigned

Qualifications

Willingness to complete all required employment screenings and onboarding
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
Clean driving record
Prior caregiving or home care experience preferred, but not required
Reliable transportation
Access to email and a smartphone
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compassion at all times

TYPICAL JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:

Aiding with activities of daily living
Assisting with shopping, errands & transportation
Pick up prescriptions & assist with telehealth visits
Light housekeeping

Providing companionship
