Overview of the internships
We have multiple Production, Development and Content internship opportunities available. By applying to this posting, you will be considered for multiple internship opportunities within this general area. These internships will be located in the NYC area. The selected interns will be expected to join us in the office on a regular cadence based on the intern manager’s in office schedule.

Food Network Production & Development Intern
HBO East Coast Production & Post Intern

HBO/Max Global Content Strategy & Planning Intern

Your Role Accountabilities
Duties could include:
Work closely with team members and shadow their day-to-day meetings including joining in on pitch meetings and getting a behind the scenes look at what it takes to be a network executive and/or Production or Post Executive
Participate in development meetings and learn what makes a successful series
Assist in-house productions with tasks including but not limited to research, logging/transcribing footage, and archiving deliverables
Update internal database with post schedules, filmmaker contact information, and credits and maintaining and organizing the Master Tracker, Talent Tracker, and Production Report
Provide input and opinion on shows the team is evaluating
Screen episodes along with programming executives and follow along with the noting process
Helping APs with keeping production schedules/shoot dates/etc. updated on documents and in Deal
Create a monthly newsletter that highlights happenings in the industry
Opportunity to pitch their own show idea to the full team
Review & verify Credit and On-Screen Text information to ensure that relevant paperwork matches the text elements on screen
Assist Post Executives with festival deliverables
Support Production Coordinators and Production/Post Assistances with administrative tasks
Assist with Senior Screening Room
Assist with Development 1 meeting/show tape
Collect show information for internal departments
Cut clips from shows
