The Program Manager (Contract) will coordinate cross-functional plans and activities for key company and development programs. This person will work closely with the SVP of Program Leadership, core team leaders, and functional departments to provide operational excellence across programs. #LI-IB1; #LI-Remote

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead program planning, scheduling, and risk management with cross-functional teams
  • Organize software development project plans and incorporate into overall program plans
  • Work with core team leaders to deliver consistent program organization
  • Identify and summarize risks across programs, escalating and working with cross-functional leadership to mitigate key risks
  • Dive deep into key topics with cross-functional teams to optimize and improve team ability to coordinate and deliver on key milestones
  • Proactively recognize dependencies and resource conflicts between teams and programs, providing visibility and opportunities to improve team coordination
  • Define and track key actions across programs, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive accountability

Skills Needed:

  • Demonstrates leadership in cross-functional teams
  • Balances multiple priorities and programs
  • Ability to communicate across technical, marketing, clinical, operational, and other disciplines
  • Outstanding organizational skills including ability to prioritize tasks efficiently with a high level of attention to detail
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player with the ability to influence and negotiate
  • Initiative to implement and improve new methods to organize teams and programs

Educational Requirements & Work Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree, technical field preferred; 5+ years of related experience in Program Management
  • OR: An advanced degree & 4+ years work experience
  • Experience with software projects
