Job Description:

The Opportunity

In this role, you will manage and grow service sales for electrical power equipment and substation services across a defined region supporting electric utility and industrial customers. Your work focuses on helping customers maintain, modernize, and extend the life of critical power assets through service projects, upgrades, retrofits, and long‑term service agreements. You will work across the installed base to identify opportunities where service solutions improve reliability, safety, and operational performance.

This position combines regional sales responsibility with people management. You will guide a service sales team while remaining directly engaged with customers, aligning operational needs, maintenance strategies, and regulatory requirements with appropriate service offerings. Working with technical specialists and internal partners, you will translate real‑world grid challenges—such as aging infrastructure and evolving operational demands—into practical service solutions that support long‑term power system reliability.

Central US locations: TX, OK, MO, KS, CO, NE, IA, IL, WI, MN are preferred, however other locations within a reasonable vicinity to our key customer base will be considered.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Manage and grow regional service sales orders for electrical substation equipment and service projects

  • Develop and execute service sales account plans to expand installed base coverage and long‑term service agreements

  • Build customer relationships by understanding operational requirements, maintenance strategies, and applicable regulations

  • Identify service opportunities through customer meetings, facility walk‑throughs, and installed base reviews

  • Coordinate service proposals, tenders, and follow‑up activities with internal teams and business units

  • Translate customer needs and feedback into appropriate service offerings and sales strategies

  • Guide and develop a regional service sales team with a focus on engagement, performance, and safety

  • Use CRM and reporting tools to manage sales activity, opportunity tracking, and data accuracy

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
