Dry Grind Maintenance Supervisor - Cedar Rapids, IA
Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor’s primary function is to coordinate and supervise the work of maintenance technicians. This individual will have responsibility to coordinate with Operations personnel to ensure schedule compliance and plant reliability.
Specific Job Duties:
- Communicate daily schedule to technicians with expectations for their job tasks
- Completed progress checks throughout the shift ensuring jobs are being completed safely in a timely manner while identifying variance issues and taking corrective action(s) and communicating to stakeholders as needed
- Coach and mentor technicians on work performance and take appropriate action to resolve problems
- Review completed work orders and creating associated follow up work orders, as needed
- Communicate preventative maintenance findings with operations team for future planning
- Implement projects that will improve equipment reliability
- Participate in the Weekly Scheduling meeting by reviewing the required PM’s and indicating the additional items required to be worked on the next week
- Ensure that all jobs are safely released to Operations team
- Ensure that proper housekeeping standards are maintained during and immediately after the completion of every job
- Work with the Operations Supervisor and Maintenance Superintendent to escalate high priority or emergency work orders
- All other duties as assigned.
- Working knowledge of trades classifications and functions
- Ability to effectively communicate through means of both verbal and written communications amongst various levels of the Organization
- Ability to use CMMS and Microsoft Suite software proficiently
- Ability to manage and lead effective meetings
- Ability to coach and mentor personnel
- Primarily Monday – Friday, but available for operations outside of standard working hours
- Stand for long periods of time
- Lift 50 lbs
- Carry ladders and tools
- Climb ladders / stairs
- Walk long distances

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
The pay range for this position is expected to be between:
$58,100.00 - $108,000.00
