Job Description

AECOM/Hunt has an exciting new position in Nashville, TN to manage the construction scheduling of our newest mega structure, sports arena.  

  • Supervises junior staff through task development, establishing and maintaining goals and expectations, and documenting performance related issues and achievements.
  • Oversees continuous professional development for staff, documents employee performance issues and participates in resolutions as appropriate. 
  • Identifies and develops talent.
  • Maintains positive working relationship with peer leaders.
  • Establishes and maintains clear goals and expectations for the organization.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirement:

  • BA/BS Engineering or relevant curriculum and 8 years of large commercial construction management experience and project controls OR demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Requirements: 

  • Project Controls/Scheduling experience.
  • Experience in megastructure construction.
  • Experience in Project Controls on projects in excess of 2 billion.
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6.
  • Experience leading teams in Project Controls.
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam, Microsoft Office and other construction related software programs. 
  • This position may include driving responsibilities.

  • This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization now or in the future.
  • This position may include relocation.
  • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
  • This position is located in Nashville, TN and is not hybrid, nor remote. 
  • Valid Driver’s License to operate an AECOM provided motor vehicle on construction project site(s) to support project tasks assignments and scope of work. For positions with driving responsibilities, Motor Vehicle Records are reviewed as part of AECOM’s background check process to ensure compliance with the Company’s driving standards.
