We are currently seeking a Facility Security Specialist to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).

Facility Security Specialist

 

Duties:

Responsibilities include providing security risk management guidance pertaining to the protection of advanced technology, making access eligibility determinations in accordance with Navy SAP processes, review documentation required for classification information systems in accordance with current regulations. You may also conduct site survey and physical security accreditations, interpret current security policies, and implement organization security policies and procedures.

 

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of professional work experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience providing onsite physical security. 
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with security classification methods, concepts, and eligibility requirements.
• Bachelor's Degree in a business or technical field
• Active Secret Clearance

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience working with Navy security policies and procedures
• Prior experience as a Facility Security Officer or Assistant Facility Security Officer
