Role Summary
The Senior Financial Systems Analyst will support the Finance department by configuring, implementing, maintaining and customizing financial systems. This position will act as the point of contact for the Finance team while partnering with IT to determine financial system needs and goals, and creates solutions to meet those objectives. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn.
- Autonomy & Decision-Making: Makes decisions on routine matters, provides recommendations to supervisor and refers all exceptions to supervisor.

Key Role Responsibilities - Core
FINANCIAL SYSTEMS ANALYSIS FAMILY – CORE
- Collaborates with IT in the implementation and support of Finance-related technology projects and initiatives, including documenting the business and technical requirements.
- Partners with Finance team to examine issues or concerns within the financial system.
- Understands dependencies of all relevant systems that impact data.
- Maintains and cultivates relationships with key internal stakeholders.
- Manages documentation, including user guides, training materials, and release notes.
- Supports upgrades, enhancements, testing, validation and overall system performance.
- Maintains and supports a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools.
- Supports data integrity protocols between Finance and other internal departments.
- Provides staff training on the use of financial systems and functions as a liaison to the information technology department.
- Works with stakeholders to identify areas of improvement and enhancements in financial systems and processes.
- Provides end user functional training for financial systems and processes.

- Identifies and provides insights and recommendations on industry and consumer trends and competitive activities to potentially impact company strategy and business decisions.
- Conducts assessment on software and hardware needs and designs new or modified systems to meet changing demands.
- Identifies problems or gaps in the financial systems of an organization, solve problems in a creative manner, and implement opportunities for improvement.
- Responsible for the improvement and operation of financial systems connected to the collection, retrieval, accessibility, and usage of financial data to facilitate department planning and activities.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, computer science or related field (Required)
- In lieu of the above requirements, relevant experience will be considered.
Experience
- 5+ years financial data management or technical related area (Required)
- Experience with CMiC (Preferred)
