The impact you will have
- Support and evolve Marqeta’s people analytics strategy: Support the design and execution of our roadmap to align people analytics with strategic business priorities. Your work will connect the dots between people data and business outcomes.
- Deliver scalable analytics solution: Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and models that deliver timely, high-impact data and insights across the organization. You’ll provide the data that impacts day-to-day decisions and long range planning.
- Unlock data-informed decision making: Deliver and translate data into analytics, insights, and recommendations that enable leaders to make smarter, faster and more informed decisions. Your insights will shape how we attract, develop, and retain talent.
- Optimize our people data ecosystem: Partner across the People team to define key metrics, align on shared definitions, and establish a centralized, living data dictionary. Your work will bring consistency, clarity, and credibility to how we talk about talent across the company.
- Elevate data quality and infrastructure: You’ll assess and improve the integrity, governance, and usability of our people data, ensuring that stakeholders across the company can rely on accurate, trusted insights.
- Promote data-literate culture: You’ll champion data fluency across the People team and the company, helping stakeholders become smarter consumers of analytics. Whether it's sharing best practices or helping teammates understand how to use a dashboard, you’ll play a role in making people data accessible, meaningful, and actionable.
Who you are
- Experienced: You have 8+ years of HR reporting, people analytics, or data analytics experience, ideally in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
- A Problem Solver: You use data to untangle complex people challenges and uncover actionable insights. Whether it’s identifying drivers of attrition, optimizing workforce planning, or surfacing hidden trends in engagement, you combine analytical rigor with business acumen to anticipate needs and enable better decisions
- An Owner: You approach your work with accountability and a sense of purpose and drive initiatives that matter to the business. You make sure stakeholders understand not just the “what” but the “so what,” bringing clarity and impact to decision making across the organization.
- An Innovator: You embrace experimentation and continuous improvement. You’re not satisfied with “the way things have always been done” – instead, you seek out new tools, approaches, and ideas to elevate the people analytics space.
- A Collaborator: You thrive on building strong partnerships. You work with partners and stakeholders to ensure that the data and insights you deliver meet business needs. You listen deeply, translate technical findings into digestible information, and influence decisions with empathy and evidence.

Additional Strengths That Set You Apart

- Workday report writing, including Advanced Reporting, Calculated Fields, or similar modules.
