Starting Rate of pay: $33.36/hour
Shifts Available and Hours:
2nd shift 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Shift Premium: 2nd Shift - $1.00/hour extra
Job Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate all maintenance equipment.
- Take direction from production supervision when prioritizing downtime repairs. Maintain a high level of customer service to production.
- Perform all electrical and mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance activities on production equipment to ensure customer shipments are met on time.
- Ensure quality product by stopping production and contacting the Supervisor when quality problems are detected.
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on production equipment and lift trucks as directed.
- Properly safeguard all production equipment. No equipment is to be used or issued unless ALL safety guards are in place.
- Ensure PM schedule is being met and all projects are completed on time by working with production and scheduling to complete jobs.
- Make repairs to production equipment and the building via work orders, as requested by management, supervisors, and production employees.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is required. Previous maintenance experience is required. A high school diploma is required. A technical degree or equivalent technical training is required.
- Proven experience of robotic controls and programming is required.
- Proven ability to program PLC’s and/or CNC’s and have the capability to troubleshoot ladder logic.
- Successful completion of an internal tow motor training course will be required.
- Proven ability to weld effectively.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with electrical repairs on production equipment and be capable of working from prints and instructions when performing electrical installations and repairs.
- Proven knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic operated machinery, equipment, and systems.
- Must be able to lift fifty to eighty (50-80) pounds frequently during an eight-to-ten-hour shift.
- Should possess his/her own standard tools for use on the job.
