<h1><b>Become a part of our caring community</b><br/> </h1>The Lead Receptionist is responsible for the front desk operations of a healthcare facility. Your role will involve greeting patients, scheduling appointments, handling inquiries, and maintaining patient records. The Lead Receptionist ensures a smooth and welcoming experience for patients and supports the medical team with several administrative tasks. You will assume ownership and lead advanced and highly specialized administrative, operational, and customer support duties that require independent initiative and judgment. You will report to the Center Administrator.<p></p><p></p><p><b>Job Responsibilities:</b></p><p>The Lead Receptionist welcomes patients, offering administrative support, and assuming team lead responsibilities within a physician practice or center. This may include the following responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Greet Patients: Welcome patients and visitors, both in person and over the phone.</li><li>Schedule Appointments: Manage appointment calendars, schedule patient visits, and coordinate with medical staff to improve schedules.</li><li>Patient Records: Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Work in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.</li><li>Billing and Payments: Ensure patient accounts are updated correctly. May include collecting copay at time of visit.</li><li>Inquiries and Communication: Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide general information.</li><li>Office Management: Ensure the reception area is tidy, sanitized, and well-stocked with necessary materials.</li><li>Administrative Support: Assist with several administrative tasks. This may involve monitoring performance metrics, conducting team huddles, and taking on center administration responsibilities in the absence of the Center Administrator.</li><li>Team Lead: Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the receptionist team, offering training and guidance. This role may also involve traveling to support multiple centers.</li><li>Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues, escalations, or complaints from patients or staff.</li></ul><p>Decisions are regarding the daily priorities for an administrative work group and external vendors. These decisions include coordinating work activities and monitoring progress towards schedules/goals. Additionally, the role often oversees work of others and is the primary administrative owner of a main process or program. Work within broad guidelines with little oversight.</p><p></p><h1><br/><b>Use your skills to make an impact </b><br/> </h1><p><b>Work Hours:</b> Monday – Friday 8:00 to 5:00</p><p><b>Location: </b>Onsite at Deland, FL</p><p> </p><p><b>Required Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Minimum of 1 year of medical reception experience</li><li>Experience leading a team/department</li><li>Experience with value-based care models</li><li>Familiarity with medical terminology</li><li>Proficient in EMR systems</li><li>Experience enhancing patient care and experience</li><li>Excellent customer service and phone skills</li><li>Positive, collaborative team player with a strong attitude toward teamwork</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Additional Information:</b></p><p>This role is considered patient-facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.<p><br/> </p>$39,000 - $49,400 per year<p><br/> </p>This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
