Audiology Assistant

The audiology assistant works in our hearing aid program assisting our licensed audiologists. Specific duties for this job include scheduling appointments, answering the phones, replying to patient messages, rooming patients, preparing for upcoming visits, hearing device troubleshooting and repair, cleaning and modifying earmolds, providing product demonstrations and technical information for hearing devices/accessories/assistive listening devices, and selling batteries and hearing device supplies.”
Preferred candidates have 3+ years of customer service experience, and experience working with medical record software such as EPIC
High School diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Work experience in a patient contact healthcare area and/or customer service field is preferred. Experience working with computer system applications such as an electronic medical record, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required by practice location. This may be completed within 6 weeks of hire.
