Primary Duties and Responsibilities

As a Talent Acquisition Consultant, you will recruit to fill a broad range of positions at UCLA Health. This will involve working closely with management to develop recruitment strategies by assessing the local market for designated positions and identifying recruitment trends and market changes. You will:

  • Establish and maintain strong rapport with internal departments and hiring managers.
  • Develop and maintain diverse applicant pools.
  • Follow-up with applicants regarding their applicant status.
  • Post job requisitions to the UCLA Health website.
  • Screen applicants as well as conduct phone and in-person interviews to ensure applicants meet licensing, certification, education and experience requirements.
  • Represent UCLA Health at local, state and national career fairs and conferences.
  • In collaboration with the Director of Compensation and Principle Analysts, you will also address compensation issues related to hiring.
Salary offers are determined based on various factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, and equity. The full salary range for this position is $80,700 to $168,500. The budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is approximately $80,700 to $120,000.

We’re seeking a self-motivated professional with:

  • At least 2 years of experience working in a healthcare recruitment office
  • Exceptional interviewing and assessment skills 
  • Knowledge of federal EEO laws and California employment law.
  • Strong collaboration, customer service, communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Computer proficiency MS Word, Excel, HRIS databases, applicant tracking systems, and Intern
