This position is for Project Engineer to support nacelle product on Business Jet platforms in Aftermarket Technical Services (AMTS). They will be the focal responsible for identifying in-service issues, fleet data gathering, driving root cause investigations, developing proactive fleet support containment strategies, and implementing robust corrective actions in a timely manner.

This position works in a primarily onsite capacity.

What You Will Do

  • Support program and engineering to ensure Aftermarket requirements are considered via Impact Assessments and Fleet Support Plans during the development of design changes, field problem corrective actions, and quality escapes.

  • Support and develop Service Bulletins to implement design changes in the fleet, contain field issues, or address quality escapes

  • Support management and compliance to our Product Support Agreement requirements including tracking operational interruptions, component reliability, removals, repair development, and warranty financials

  • Work to effectively understand and resolve warranty disputes

  • Support driving improvement to customer scorecards, key performance metrics, and implement and execute standard work.

  • Develop and maintain positive customer and supplier relationships through effective communication by fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and mutual respect.

  • Develop and enhance Maintenance Management Guidelines (MMG).

  • Present fleet support strategies to different audiences at the appropriate flight level.

  • Review technical publication impacts and drive updates through project specialist.

  • Travel up to 10% domestically and internationally when circumstances permit.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

  • Experience presenting to customers (int and ext)

  • Experience with Root Cause Investigations

  • Experience leading projects (formal/ informal)

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Aviation Aftermarket  experience

  •  Fleet management experience
