Overview
Utah State University is looking for a qualified candidate to fill a full-time 30 hour/week position in the USU Aggie Creamery, working in the Gary H. Richardson Dairy Products Laboratory as a Food Processing Technician. This is a day shift position, 5 days a week, with nights, weekends and holidays OFF. Qualified candidate will be part of a dynamic team that is directly involved with the success of The Aggie Creamery in Teaching, Research, and Production of high-quality dairy products. This position is 30 hours per week.

- Experience in a production facility or lab of up to six months is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in cheese production
- Experience in a dairy facility.
- Experience in production.

Advertised Salary
$25,500-28,5000; Commensurate with experience, plus excellent benefitsADA
This position requires moderate physical activity. Employees must have sufficient strength to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position including moderate lifting (up to 35 pounds), walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and squatting. This position requires nearly continuous standing, repetitive hand motions, and reaching overhead. Employees may be exposed to unusual elements including extreme temperatures, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
