About the role

Job Summary: 

Under limited supervision, strengthen Quality Circle programs across North America. Centralize the total planning, deployment and kaizen of annual NA Quality Circle Conference which increases overall process efficiency. Use problem solving skills to changeculture and mindset around grass-roots activities of quality circle; how to visualize what improvements would be with quality circles implemented and convince site leaders / management to commit to the appropriate resources (manpower, equipment, space) for long-term benefit for both company and associates.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Promote the value, benefit, & need for Quality Circles to affiliates (especially smaller ones). Guide and support program development, in several cases from scratch.
  • Gather and analyze significant quality issues (internal and external to OEM customers), and feedforward to Quality Circle activity to drive systemic improvement.
  • Lead NA Quality Circle Conference planning, deployment, and overall process improvement.
  • Lead negotiations and contract arrangements with hotel venues and external vendors for Audio- Video, conference props, etc.
  • Lead process standardization for Circle activity & Conference; promote NA best practice sharing & support affiliates’ adoption.

Skills and Abilities: 

  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve difficult or complicated situations that are often sensitive in nature.
  • Customer services kills to promote and support a service-oriented environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Project management skills including the ability to define program, project or process objectives, identify customers/stakeholders and their interests, plan steps, and to coordinate resources to accomplish goals and objectives in an effective and timely manner.

Salary Range: $84,800-$105,900 USD annually
